New Zealand Pacific Ocean views of Kawau Island, Little Barrier Island (Bird sanctuary), Great Barrier Island, Coromandel Peninsula, and the Mahurangi River. We offer indoor or out door dining, (weather permitting) and Pacific Ocean or rural views.

Fans - we are only 40m minutes easy drive to the North Harbour
Stadium and less than 60 minutes to Auckland's iconic Eden Park.
Also it's only 90 minutes drive to Whangarei. Your host, Rod, is
happy to act as your personal driver to the rugby events,
OR you can watch the games in warmth & comfort on our big screen
T.V.
Weather permitting Mahurangi Lodge also provides
fabulous fishing trips to Kawau Island - price only $50 pp
or maximum of $200. Now that's great value!
Dinner can be arranged & we will negotiate
a special price if 8-10 friends (4 large rooms, with water
views) want to book out the Lodge before, during, or after the
Rugby.

We are only 1¼ hrs from the Auckland,
New Zealand Airport, just a simple drive after your arrival, or before you fly out. Come and relax in the countryside, with the beaches in easy reach, nice walks for you to unwind on.
New Zealand's biggest city, Auckland, is only 70km (1hour) drive away, so have all the pleasure of a rural area, but the City attractions
are within easy driving distance.
We are both keen travellers ourselves and have toured throughout New Zealand and
many overseas countries (and Alison has lived overseas).
